此建案座落於台北市某精華特區,屋齡及外觀均有一段時間的老公寓,和80年代多數亞洲城市一切追求腳步與速度的結果。很多居住空間未被適切的研究及探討,自然所有空間顯得如此的單調及無趣,而正好此案在業主充分的授權之下,有機會探討一些空間之可塑性。

空間概念:
  1. 將既有可能之視覺焦點、軸線由單向性改為多向性
  2. 空間為層與層之間的互疊
  3. 開展牆面而並繼續延伸
  4. 空間任維持均質性的含意,但有些元素被特意的改變 (顏色與材質),希望給予空間因此些元素之改變而有新的意涵
  5. 維持原有空間之體積(volume),但藉由不同介面而延伸,使空間體積也因而改變而轉變空間之既定認知
 
在既有城市中,令人挽惜的居住空間品質,是否因為一些新的設計概念及操作方式,或許成為一種新居住單元的暗示,至少我們覺得此案有試著將它形成。


This unit is located on a prime location inside Taipei City. Its original design concept was typical to that of the 80’s period Asia, a time of endless pursuit for speed and efficiency. Hence many opportunities and potentials were left unexplored, resulting in another typical “non-character” standard living space. Fortunately, we were given the opportunity to explore some of these forfeited potentials, and rediscover what this unit is truly capable of.
